Kid’s Homework Center
December 4th, 2009Now that school has been in session for a couple months, I’m sure your kid’s papers, homework, and artwork are beginning to pile up somewhere in your house similar to Mount Everest. A great solution to organizing all their “stuff” is by making a Homework Center dedicated for the endless amount of paper that are sent home with them every day.
The Homework Center will help sort out your children’s papers from their siblings and help you throw out what you want to keep or throw away. This project is extremely simple and guaranteed to make life simpler for you. Many retailers such as Walmart, K-Mart, and Target offer plastic storage drawers for under $20 that come in all different shapes and sizes. Choose one that you think will best suit your family. Place the plastic drawer in a community place such as the kitchen or family room so that everyone in your family can have access to the drawers when they need it. Then, want you want to do is label each drawer with your child’s name on it. Everyday when your kids come home for school they can now place all their papers in one drawer instead of leaving it in their schoolbags, on the floor, dining room table, or under the bed.
