As I was labeling all my kids back to school supplies last night, I couldn't help but think "Why do kids need all this stuff?" Back in 1987 when I was in Second Grade, I was lucky my parents got me a new school bag, yet alone $100 dollars worth of endless school supplies. I remember back 30 years ago, going back to school meant having one simple school bag and a trapper keeper. That was it! I survived, and I think our kids can too. I mean seriously, hypoallergenic baby wipes!!!!! Next thing you know, they are going to add toilet paper, paper towels, and hand sanitizer to the list. My, how times have changed.

Can you tell what I'll be doing this week. It's that time of year again and thank God for I.D. Me Labels to help me with the task of labeling a zillion back to school supplies. I swear this pile keeps growing each year.

I'm so happy the girls enjoyed their first season as members on their local swim team. They were able to work on building their confidence while making new friends. Even though waking up early on the weekends for their meets were sometimes a drag, I will still do again next year!
